OWH Studio was established in 1995. Initially, the studio was designed as a creative workshop for young people. Then it was constituted a professional environment where basic imperative was achieving quality productions. On 27 January 1999 OWH Studio was registered as an independent institution. OWH team members proposed to provide the public of the Republic of Moldova an alternative to existing video and continuing work served as the basis for the establishment of permanent staff.

OWH Studio objectives are:

- realization of film and television production, and promotion on national and international market

- attracting and training young people in the audiovisual field by organizing various film workshops

- promoting film culture in Moldova.

OWH Studio strategy has 4 priority segments:

Since 2001, OWH Studio organizes in Chisinau the International Documentary Film Festival CHRONOGRAPH.
